Aluminium Spacer Bars
Standard · Butyl · Bendable, in 12 standard widths from 5.5 to 23.5 mm.
The aluminium spacer bar is used in double glazing. It is the thin aluminium frame that separates the two glass panes to improve insulation from heat and sound transmission.
PROFILPLUS monitors and guarantees the product to the strictest standards (ISO 9001). Spacer bars are made on five vertically integrated production lines in Drama and are available in all standard sizes to cover any customer need.
Types
- Standard spacer bar – the classic spacer for every double-glazing application.
- Butyl spacer bar – pre-applied butyl for faster assembly.
- Bendable spacer bar – for bent frames without corner keys.
